Lessons are provided FREE, once each week in a pull out format. Beginning students will be in a class with the same instrument, while Continuing students will learn to be part of a mixed-instrument ensemble. All will have a chance to perform and show off their new talents! Our required parent meetings will be held September 12 and 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Brunelle Hall. String students will come between 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. to be measured and ensure they get the right size instrument.
Enrollments are open until September 12; lessons will begin the week of September 25.
In addition, this year all of our 2nd and 3rd grade students will receive 30 minutes of weekly music instruction, using rhythm instruments, vocalization and movement to introduce concepts of rhythm, pitch, and musical intervals - all hidden in play and teamwork! These lessons begin the week of September 4.
