Campus Updates & Reminders: 

Earth Day Family Activity: Please join us for a Garden Work Party to help 5th grade science classes prepare the soil for a pollinator garden. Meet near the flagpole at Korematsu on the following Sundays: April 21 and 28 from 10am to noonBring garden hand tools if you have them. All are welcome. See you in the garden! We are down to the last 25 yearbooks! Order yours today. When they are gone….they are GONE.

Grades 3 through 6 will be entering our state standardized testing soon. Families in these grades will be getting a separate message regarding the upcoming testing session. We will be spending the next few weeks getting students familiar with the online testing interface and will begin testing at the beginning of May.

Auction:

Our Coyotes Gone Country Auction is NEXT Saturday! You won't want to miss this fun event, but TODAY is the last day to purchase your tickets!! There will be no late sales!!! Tickets can be purchased on our auction website.

If you can't make the auction, consider sponsoring a staff member's ticket. You can do that on our auction website, too.

Keep selling your raffle tickets! Raffle tickets are due by 3:05 pm on Friday, April 26.

 

PTO Message:

Looking to become more involved with PTO? Planning has already begun for next year’s PTO Board! If you are interested in any of these positions or would like more information, please email Parliamentarian, Kristine Wise, at [email protected]. We will be looking to fill the following positions:

  • Communications: sends out weekly PTO emails to all Korematsu families; updates the school marquee weekly.

Treats sold after school at the MPR for $1. Funds support next year’s 6th grade  science trip)
