Principal's Weekly Message- April 26,2024

Campus Updates & Reminders:

Earth Day Family Activity: Please join us for a Garden Work Party to help 5th grade science classes prepare the soil for a pollinator garden. Meet near the flagpole at Korematsu Sunday, April 28th from 10am to noonBring garden hand tools if you have them. All are welcome. See you in the garden! Grades 3 through 6 will be entering our state standardized testing next week. Families in these grades will be getting a separate message regarding the upcoming testing session. We will be spending the next few weeks getting students familiar with the online testing interface and will begin testing at the beginning of May.

Looking to become more involved with PTO? Planning has already begun for next year’s PTO Board! If you are interested in any of these positions or would like more information, please email Parliamentarian, Kristine Wise, at [email protected]. We will be looking to fill the following positions:

  • Communications: sends out weekly PTO emails to all Korematsu families; updates the school marquee weekly.
