Campus Updates & Reminders:
Do you have a new TK or Kindergartner starting next year? Do you know someone in your neighborhood that does? It’s time to start thinking about enrollment and come to our annual TK/K information night! Join us on February 20 at 6:00pm in the MPR to hear about the programs, tour classrooms, and talk to the teachers. This is for new, incoming TK and Kindergarten students only. If your child is currently enrolled in this year’s TK/K program, they will automatically be enrolled into next year’s classes.
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is returning for another season at Korematsu Elementary! GOTR is a program for 3rd-5th grade girls which inspires participants of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths while building a sense of connection in a team setting. We have lessons around confidence, kindness and decision-making skills all while preparing for an end of the year 5k run! GOTR spring 24' season: March 4-May 17 (10-weeks, excluding spring break) Practice times: Mondays 3:15-4:45pm* (3rd graders can stay w/ a coach after school until practice starts) and Wednesdays 1:45-3:15pm. 5K event: Sunday, May 19, Inderkum High School Natomas (tentative). Auction:
Yee haw! We are so excited about the auction, but we are in need of 10-15 volunteers to help with getting the items needed to make the auction a fun and successful event. This task can be done on your own time and is mostly emailing businesses asking for donations. You can do as little as 10, or as many as you desire!
