Principal's Weekly Message- November 10, 2023

Campus Updates & Reminders:

Parent teacher conferences will be taking place next week! Please check to see if your child's teacher has sent you a link for sign-ups. All 1st through 6th graders will be dismissed at 12:10 that week. We will offer lunch beginning at 12:10 until 12:40 for any students wishing to eat a school lunch. Any student not wishing to have a school lunch should be picked up at 12:10. All other students must be picked up from lunch at 12:40.

Students enrolled in after school programs such as DKK and Catalyst will be taken to their appropriate programs after lunch. TK and Kindergarten will operate on their normal schedule.

Our annual Youth Truth Survey is open only for one more week! Thank you to all families who have already completed your survey for this year. Please take the time to fill out this survey as it gives us extremely important feedback for how we run our school. The survey only takes about 10 minutes. You can complete the survey through this link: http://ytsurvey.org/djusdfamily23

Traveling for the holidays? Don't fall behind. We know that this time of year brings extra travel for many families and this means that students may have to miss school. Short-term independent study (STIS) is available for students who know in advance that they will be absent for three+ school days, and enables the student to stay current with coursework provided by their teacher(s). For more information on STIS, please visit the District website
