Principal's Weekly Message- August 25, 2023

Campus Updates & Reminders:

What a fantastic first week back at Korematsu! Our students jumped right back into the swing of things and have already started the year off so strong.

Next to our campus is the Early Learning Center (ELC). While we share space, we are two separate campuses. It is important that we do not utilize their parking spaces or traffic loops. The traffic loop is especially vital as the ELC receives bus services. There have been several instances over this last week where the bus has not been able to drop students off or pick students up. Please help us be good neighbors and use only our parking lot and loop.

PTO Message:

Our Active-4-Me program is looking for new volunteers to help check in our bike riders in the morning. This happens 20 minutes before the start of each day. If you are interested, please email Kat Richmond at [email protected].

The Korematsu Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (KPTO) provides enrichment to the school by raising funds and providing volunteer support to benefit all students through events and programs, classroom supplies, educational enrichment programs, school news, student club and field trip sponsorship, recycling, and garden-based learning, to name a few. You can donate using this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfUox94ypwM4Wltwe4K2_CcEnnIuhJdEV2cPuNzOc-dwu8ygg/viewform.
