Principal's Weekly Message- April 5, 2024

Campus Updates & Reminders:

This upcoming week we will be taking time to celebrate all the amazing things happening in your child’s classroom so far this year! Please make sure to join us for our yearly Open House event happening this Thursday, April 11, from 6:00-7:30. Classrooms will be open for families to walk around and admire all the hard work our kids have been putting in this year. Please make sure that you are enjoying this time as an opportunity to celebrate your students’ accomplishments. If you need to speak to your child’s teacher regarding their progress, please contact them separately for a meeting.

Grades 3 through 6 will be entering our state standardized testing soon. Families in these grades will be getting a separate message regarding the upcoming testing session. We will be spending the next few weeks getting students familiar with the online testing interface and will begin testing at the beginning of May.

Auction:

Our annual auction and biggest PTO fundraiser of the year will be held at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis on April 27 from 5:30-9:00. This year's theme is Coyotes Gone Country! Tickets are on sale and can be purchased hereTickets are $60 each and include dinner, 2 drink tickets and entry to the party of the year!

Keep selling those raffle tickets! If your student needs more tickets, they can be picked up in the office or they can request more tickets on the outside of the envelope when they turn it in. The raffle raises a lot of money for PTO and students can even win fun rewards for participating!
