Campus Updates & Reminders:
Thank you for joining us for our annual Open House event last night! It was great to see all of our families on campus celebrating everything that our students have accomplished so far this year. We have only a few weeks left of school and are excited to see our kids finish strong!
Grades 3 through 6 will be entering our state standardized testing soon. Families in these grades will be getting a separate message regarding the upcoming testing session. We will be spending the next few weeks getting students familiar with the online testing interface and will begin testing at the beginning of May.
Auction:
Ticket sales are closing soon! Don't miss your chance to attend the event of the year the Korematsu PTO auction, Coyotes Gone Country! The auction will be at Wildhorse Golf Club on April 27 from 5:30-9:00. Can't make the event? Did you know that for just $25, you can help sponsor a teacher/staff ticket? Click here to purchase tickets for yourself or a teacher/staff member!
Keep selling those raffle tickets! If your student needs more tickets, they can be picked up in the office or they can request more tickets on the outside of the envelope when they turn it in. The raffle raises a lot of money for PTO and students can even win fun rewards for participating!

Looking to become more involved with PTO? Planning has already begun for next year’s PTO Board! If you are interested in any of these positions or would like more information, please email Parliamentarian, Kristine Wise, at [email protected]. We will be looking to fill the following positions:
- Communications: sends out weekly PTO emails to all Korematsu families; updates the school marquee weekly.
- Hospitality Coordinator: coordinates staff celebrations (ex: teacher appreciation week, potlucks, etc.); coordinates donation drives for students.
