Food Packs For Kids by STEAC (Short Term Emergency Aide Committee of Yolo County)
In partnership with schools in the Davis Joint Unified School District, this program provides weekend packs of non-perishable foods to school children who may be facing food insecurity. The program is designed to help children stave off hunger over the weekend so that they come to school Monday morning well-nourished and able to focus. I will gather requests until Friday 11/15/24. At that point, once requests have been established and coordinated with STEAC, I will notify families making requests when pick up of packs will begin.
