Thank you to the many families that were able to attend our fall ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee) meeting this past week. We look forward to continuing to collaborate wtih you as we move your student towards the superpower of being bilingual!
Do you know a student, staff member, or member of the Korematsu community that exhibits the core values of the Davis school district? The nominations for this fall’s “Values in Action” award are now open! Last year, several members of the coyote pack were recognized for their committment to our vision. Let’s keep the recognition going with some new nominations! Don’t forget picture day is next Friday! Paper copies of order forms were sent home with your student. You can also order online at mydorian.com. All students will take pictures even if you don’t order your own set. We use these pictures for our student information system, school ID cards, and the yearbook!
PTO Message:
Take-Out Tuesday Sept 30: Eat at Mendocino Farms, 2pm – 9pm. Show our flyer or order online with code GOGIVEBACK. Enjoy sandwiches, soups, and salads at their Davis location and 50% of sales will be donated to KPTO!
Our Fall Book Fair is right around the corner, but we need some help! If we are unable to get cooridnator/ volunteer support, the fair may not happen. If you are available to work with our library team to coordiante the Book Fair, please contact us at [email protected].
October 1st is “Walk and Bike to School” day! Students who scan in with their Active-4-Me badge will be eligible to receive prizes that morning.
No running club this fall.
