Campus Updates & Reminders:
Our first ELAC (English Language Acquisition Committee) meeting of the year will be this upcoming Tuesday evening from 5:30-6:30 in room C14. This is an opportunity for our English Learner families to come together and learn about what our English Language Development program and school has in store this year. Any member of the Korematsu Community that wishes to join the ELAC team is welcome to attend.
Thank you to all of the families that engaged in this year’s round of School Site Council elections and voting. We are excited to work again with a great group of family and staff representatitves to collaborate on the school plan for success.
PTO Message:
Thank you to all of the families that participated in our first ever Family Trivia Night! It was a huge success and amazing fun! We can’t wait to do it again in the future.
The next big school event will be our annual Spooktacular event. Join us on October 23rd for trick-or-treating, pizza, and a movie! More information to come in the next few weeks!
Running Club is in full swing for our Kindergarten through 3rd graders. Please make sure your child goes straight to the field after dismissal to join the club. Any students in SPARK or Catalyst MUST check in with their after school program before heading to the field.
Social Justice Corner:
This month our student re-pledged the district’s “Know Better. Do Better. Be Better.” committment.
