Campus Updates & Reminders:
Beginning this week, the district’s attendance auditing system will begin sending letters home to families regarding attendance concerns. A letter may be sent if there are excessive unexcused absences or excessive unexcused tardies. If you receive a letter, do not panic. This is an opportunity for the school to check in with families to determine if there are needs and resources to support student attendance. If you are sent multiple letters throughout the year, you may receive a request for a meeting with the principal. PTO Message:
School Spirit Store Open! Order by Monday evening. Put your student's name and teacher in the ordering notes. Delivery to students mid-October. We have adult sizes, winter gear, water bottles, and more!
Volunteers needed: help with running club, picture day, or book fair.

Social Justice Corner:
Each month, we will learn a new social justice term as a school. This month’s word is “multiracial”: a person who identifies as coming from two or more ethnic groups.

September 22nd: Online spirit store closes at 11:59 PM
September 23rd: English Learner Advisory Committee/ ELAC Meeting (C-15 at 5:30PM)
September 30th: Take Out Tuesday at Mendocino Farms restaurant in Davis (50% of proceeds donated to the school!)
October 1st: Speak Up Assemblies (Filipino Heritage Month)
October 3rd: Picture Day
