Campus Updates & Reminders:
A big shout out to all of our students for a successful Fall Safety Week. All students took the drills seriously and executed them perfectly.
This upcoming Friday is our annual Spooktacular Event sponsored by PTO! This wonderful community building opportunity is filled with trick-or-treating at our classroom doors, followed by a movie on the quad. In order to ensure the safety of all, students are required to have a parent/ adult family member chaperone with them during this event. Students left unsupervised, will be asked to leave. Please make sure that you and your family have a supervision plan for this event prior to attending on Friday.

Spooktacular Family Night (Oct 24th): Join us Friday, 10/24 at 5:45 PM for safe, school-wide trick-or-treating (costumes encouraged) followed by a family-friendly outdoor movie at 6:30 PM. Bring a picnic or buy pizza/popcorn; adult supervision is required.
Candy & Treat Donations Needed (Due 10/20): We have a treat emergency! Please help us stock the trick-or-treat route by dropping off pre-packaged candy or non-candy goodies at the school office on Monday, October 20th. Jog-A-Thon Fundraiser Coming Soon: Get ready for KPTO’s BIGGEST fall fundraiser! Every student gets to participate in this fun event on Wednesday, November 5th during school hours. Information and pledge packets will be sent home next week!

Social Justice Corner:
In addition to celebrating Filipino Heritage Month, we are also recognizing Bullying Prevention Month this October.
- Began in 2006 as a nationwide campaign
- Purpose is to raise awareness about bullying prevention and the negative impacts that bullying has on people
- Unity day: October 22nd…wear orange!
