
Campus Updates & Reminders:
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We are excited to have new and returning coyotes back on campus.
As we prepare to get back into the swing of things, remember that the first two days can be pretty hectic at the drop-off and pick-up times. Please give yourself ample time to travel to school and follow the traffic markings in our lot.
- The yellow curb is for drop-off and pick-up ONLY. If you are walking your child in, you must park in a space or in the surrounding neigborhood. (Note: there is no parking on Loyola and Alhambra drives).
- The left-handed lane in the parking lot is for passing ONLY. Do not drop your student off in this lane. All students should be dropped off in lane along the curb ONLY.
- Be aware of the arrows on the asphalt directing one-way travel.
- Adhere to all crosswalk personnel as they are stopping traffic for pedestrians.
As you arrive with your student before school, please follow the “before school” plans:
- TK/Kindergarten: please walk your student to their classroom door. Your child’s teacher will open the door 5 minutes prior to the start of the school day.
- TK- AM: Azzarello (K-1)
- TK-PM: Mayorga (K-2)
- Kindergarten: Pollock (H-52), Shank (H-53)
- 1st- 6th grade: report to the playground/ blacktop area and line up on your designated classroom line (painted on the asphalt)
- 1st Grade: Molly (C-20), Hardin (D-29), Schneider (C-18)
- 2nd Grade: Batac (D-24), Ciprich (D-28), Hardin (D-29)
- 3rd Grade: Banks (D-25), Hemeon (D-30), Meyer (D-26)
- 4th Grade: Beermann (E-37), Gonzalez (E-36), Hansen (E-35)
- 5th Grade: Medeiros (F-46), Sweeney (E-34), Yust (F-44)
- 6th Grade: Del Moro (F-44), Fujii (F-48)
- Breakfast is served daily from 8:10-8:30 in the MPR.

Social Justice Corner:
Our school was named after the social justice icon and civil rights activist, Fred T. Korematsu. As a social justice school, part of our mission is to imbed opportunities for our students to learn about how to make an impact on the world around them. Each month, we will celebrate a different group of individuals. Every week, a new piece of information will be included in this section of our newsletter for you to share with your child.
