Campus Updates & Reminders:
We are about to head into our second full month of school and we are really getting into the swing of things! There are some wonderful school events coming up that will allow us to continue to build our special school community. If you are looking for ways to become involved in our school, we are still looking for participation in our PTO an ELAC (English Learner) committees. We are also looking for someone to help run our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. If you are interested, please contact our Library Teacher, Seana Holland ([email protected]).
Student council will be up and running soon. Fifth and sixth graders will be eligible to apply for positions and can pick up paperwork from their teacher this week. We look forward to having these students become a strong voice for their peers as we continue the year.
PTO Message:
We will be running an optional Choir program for interested 4th through 6th graders. Please check the weekly PTO Newsletter for a link to sign up.
Our online spirit store will be open from 10/3 to 10/10. You can purchase spirit gear through the link that PTO will be sending in their weekly newsletter.
Next Friday will be the LAST Frozen Friday of the season! Popsicles and ice cream will be for sale for $1 after school at the cafeteria picnic benches. PTO will also have tshirts and car magnets for sale at this event.
