Campus Updates & Reminders:
Thank you for all of the responsiveness to the threat at neighboring schools in the district earlier this week. With safety being our top priority, I would like to commend our staff for keeping everything in order as we welcomed our students on campus that day. Safety trainings with staff are ongoing throughout the school year as we always work to keep our plans up-to-date.
Picture day is this week! If you are looking to purchase photos of your child, please make sure to send them with their payment envelope on Tuesday or visit mydorian.com, search for our school, and click the green order button.
PTO Message:
Running club for grades 1-3 is beginning this week! This will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35 to 3:05 starting on September 27th and going until November 3rd. If your child is interested in participating in this program, a permission slip must be signed off and submitted to the PTO box in the office prior to attending.
Frozen Fridays are continuing next week. Popsicles and ice cream will be for sale for $1 after school at the cafeteria picnic benches. PTO will also have tshirts and car magnets for sale at this event.
