Campus Updates & Reminders:
Safety Week has wrapped up and we are so proud of our students and staff! If you have never seen close to 600 people try to evacuate in an orderly fashion, it is quite the undertaking. Students took every drill seriously and responded to the direction of their teachers beautifully.
There have been some questions about the upcoming Red Ribbon Week. Our main focus as a campus is encouraging students to make healthy choices for their lives. Teachers will adapt this messaging to be accessible and appropriate for each grade level. For more information and resources for continuing this conversation at home with your child, visit redribbon.org.
PTO Message:
Our first annual Jog-a-thon will be Wednesday, November 2. This is one of our main fundraisers for the year. Yellow pledge sheets went home with your child this week. We've streamlined our fundraiser by going online with 99Pledges.
To add your child as a participant, please follow these 3 easy steps:
- Go to this link : https://app.99pledges.com/fund/korematsupto/addme
- Enter your child’s name, enter your email(s), and select the group your child belongs to.
- Click “Add” this will take you to your newly created pledge page!
- Share your child’s pledge page link with friends and family. No donation amount is too small.
