Campus Updates & Reminders:
Does anyone remember what sunshine is? It's only been a few days, but back to the rainy weather we go! Please make sure that your child is in appropriate clothing and shoes. While we keep them indoors from the elements, just traveling from classroom to the cafeteria can give our kids quite a shower.
Pokemon cards are on the rise again. With this, we unfortunately have been seeing an uptick in student conflict as well. Please remind your student that toys (including their beloved Pokemon cards) are not items to bring to school. Teachers will be holding on to any cards that make their way to school...and they are not trying to "catch them all."
Sixth grade families...the time has come! It is time to begin planning your child's next adventure into middle school. Harper JH will be holding a parent information night this upcoming Tuesday for incoming 7th graders. The English presentation is at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Spanish presentation at 7:00 p.m.
PTO Message:
There will be NO Kona Ice on Friday 3/17.
PTO is still looking for some members for next year's Board. If you are interested, please reach out to PTO at [email protected]
Save the Date! Our annual Korematsu Auction is coming up on April 22nd. PTO will be sending out more information about tickets as we get closer. The auction committee is still in need of some volunteers, specifically someone to help with technology (ex: setting up QR codes for auction items), program materials (ex: auction flyers/ paper programs), and outreach for auction donations. There are also other opportunities to volunteer leading up to and on the day of the event. Please reach out to to Maren Heise ([email protected]) or Jennifer Clary ([email protected]).
Our yearbook is on sale now! Purchases can be made at https://buytheyearbook.com using the school code "713053".
