Our campus is bustling lately!
Congratulations to all that participated in this year's Missoula Theater production. It was a hit! We are excited to see what our kids bring to the stage next year.
DJUSD is working on creating more opportunities for student extended learning opportunities. More information will be distributed soon as after school enrichment programs begin to become available. I am currently working with the district's enrichment coordinator on getting programs like after school art classes, fencing, and so much more on our Korematsu campus. In the meantime, thank you to Ms. Kesser for sponsoring a space for this year's ASL (American Sign Language) Club. Space in this club is extremely limited. Earlier this week, I emailed out an opportunity for students to sign the school song at the upcoming February 2nd DJUSD board meeting. Due to some technical difficulties with the link, we are extending the sign up through this weekend. We are excited to get the opportunity to honor Fred T. Korematsu and highlight some of the great things happening at our school. Student Council is hosting our first Kindness Week beginning on Monday! Korematsu students are joining kids from all around the world for the "Great Kindness Challenge".
