Campus Updates & Reminders
We had another great week here at Korematsu and are almost done with the month of February! March is headed our way quickly, and with that comes the end of trimester two. Teachers will be reaching out soon to schedule conferences for those that need them.
March also brings back the DJUSD Compassion Project series. Keep an eye out for more information about the Compassion Project and topics coming to you next week.

Save the Date! Our annual Korematsu Auction is coming up on April 22nd. PTO will be sending out more information about tickets as we get closer. The auction committee is still in need of some volunteers, specifically someone to help with technology (ex: setting up QR codes for auction items), program materials (ex: auction flyers/ paper programs), and outreach for auction donations. There are also other opportunities to volunteer leading up to and on the day of the event. Please reach out to to Maren Heise ([email protected]) or Jennifer Clary ([email protected]).

Kona Ice is back! Come to Mace Ranch Park after school on Fridays to enjoy a sweet treat at the end of the week!

March 15th: PTO Meeting at 7:00pm in the Korematsu Library
March 20th-24th: Parent Teacher Conferences (as needed); dismissal time is 1:30 for grades 1st-6th; TK and K will follow their normal schedule
March 20th-24th: Scholastic Book Fair
March 27th-31st: Spring Break
