Campus Updates & Reminders:
Thank you to all of those that participated in the annual Youth Truth Survey. Korematsu had one of the highest percentages of participation from students, staff, and families. This data will be vital as we reflect on our practices and continue with a focus on equity and positive learning experiences for our students. More information for how to become involved with our school Climate Committee will be out soon. We will be looking for individuals to become part of this committee as we continue to build on our mission as a social justice school.
Welcome to the season of germs! We will be sending home testing kits prior to the next break for all students to test again before returning in January. I will update you once kits are on their way. Please continue to help us encourage safety hygiene with your student. Report all illness to the office.
PTO Message:
PTO will be working with the school to assist in this year's Giving Tree. More information for how you can donate will be coming in a separate email soon.
There will be no PTO meeting this month.
