Campus Updates & Reminders:
Our yearly statewide testing is underway for all 3rd through 6th graders. Your child’s teacher should have already emailed you the dates that their class is planning on testing. If you have not received those dates, please email the classroom teacher or Mrs. Andrews. As you are preparing your child for testing, here are some helpful tips to make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible:
- Make sure your child gets a full night’s sleep the night before testing
- Eating a big breakfast will help power their brain. Breakfast is served daily in our school MPR from 8:10-8:30 and is free for all students.
- Make sure your child has enough time in the morning to get ready. Most tests will begin first thing in the morning and students will not be allowed to enter the classroom tardy if the test has already begun; this means they will have to do make-up testing at a later time.
- Remind your child that this is just one test and one moment in time. While we want them to try their best, this test does not define them or measure all of their successes.
