Campus Updates & Reminders:
Welcome back! We hope you had a great Spring Break with your student. We are excited to get back to work and finish out the year strong!
Prior to the break, a message was sent out regarding safety concerns in our parking lot. We are still noticing unsafe driving that is continuing to put our students, staff, and families at risk of injury. As we head back to school, PLEASE make sure you are adhering to the traffic laws:
- Take note of all signage, including “not an exit” at the front entrance to the parking lot, arrows for one way traffic, and the loading/unloading zones.
- The lane closest to the curb is for quick drop off/pick up (no parking). The lane furthest from the curb is for through/passing traffic.
- Students should ONLY enter and exit their vehicles along the curb when using the traffic loop. DO NOT have students enter traffic to access your vehicle stopped in the outer/passing lane.
- Speed limits should be greatly reduced while driving in the parking lot.
- All pedestrians should be using marked crosswalks. Please do not have your child crossing the parking lot in other areas.
- Drivers should keep their eyes out for pedestrians at all crosswalks. If a staff member is assisting with foot traffic and has their “stop” sign out, vehicles must stop and wait for all pedestrians and crossing guards to be safely back on the sidewalk.

Have not attended and want to know more? This is a very fun, 21 and older evening at Wildhorse Golf Club, for staff and families (current and graduated). There is dinner, and 2 alcoholic/nonalcoholic drink tickets included and more available for purchase. Online and live auction items available to bid on. Some of us come dressed in theme and some come in what makes them feel most comfortable. We end the night with bidding on desserts, sharing them among new, old friends, and staff. As well as dancing and games!!
You have not volunteered and are just not sure how you can help a little to make a BIG impact?? If you aren't able to attend, we still need help with preparations and donations. There are so many ways to contribute, if you are on the fence on how to help, please email me or our fundraiser chair, Heather Theisen who's working really hard to make our auction a success ([email protected])
