Principal's Weekly Howler: February 3, 2025

Campus Updates & Reminders:

You have done a great job filling out those Intent to Return forms! Over half of our families have completed the online form. If you haven’t done yours yet, please do so as soon as possible. This form must be completed for every student before February 14th. This information is critical as we are making plans for classes and staffing next year. You can complete your student(s)’s intent to return using the link: https://parentportal.djusd.net.

We had a wonderful Fred T. Korematsu Day this week. Students learned about the life and legacy of Mr. Korematsu and other social justice icons like him that embody the “Speak Up” attitude. Thank you to those families that were able to attend the assemblies and join us in the celebration.

PTO Message:

Save the date for our annual Korematsu Auction: April 26th! Here are some ways to support the efforts:

  1. Volunteers Needed for our Spring Auction: Event Activity Leads, Picture Back-Drop Builder, Dessert Auction Lead, and Business Donation Helpers. If you're interested, please reach out to [email protected]
